Researchers have found that regular consumption of mānuka honey may help decrease symptoms of multiple gut symptoms including constipation, diarrhoea and abdominal pain. Although this research is on-going it is encouraging to know that a small amount of honey can provide comfort to such an essential part of our biology.

What is UMF

UMF is The grading system developed in New Zealand by the UMF Honey Association and grants UMF licenses to Manuka honey manufacturers who meet their exacting standards. The higher the UMF rating, the higher the level of the bioactives within the honey; Methylglyoxal (MGO) and Leptosperin. To achieve its UMF rating, BeeNZ honey meets incredibly high-quality standards, and each batch is independently lab tested in order to achieve its UMF rating.
